Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. She studied boxing, kickboxing as well as wrestling, before making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd went on an impressive 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent within the first round. After that, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and won via armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill, and she managed to finish her third round with a TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd was unable to reach her weight. However, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She won by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimity. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. She maintained her dominance, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. Also, she was awarded an extra bonus for her performance that night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. The two fighters had a close fight that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her losing streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC in ESPN 7. In a recent match replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
