Shannon Spake
Shannon Spake, born July 23rd in 1976, is a NASCAR reporter, as well as college football and basketball reporter at Fox Sports. Before being hired by Fox Sports, Spake worked with ESPN. She was a contributor to SportsCenter's before- and post-game coverage. Additionally, she was the sideline reporter of ESPN basketball and football matches, she also covered the SEC. Spake was also journalist in the SEC Network. This network is part of ESPN. Before coming to ESPN, Spake worked at Speed Channel, where she co-hosted NASCAR Nation in its second version (June to November 2005) and was also a reporter for the first edition (February until the month of June in 2005). Spake also hosted Back Seat Drivers, a talk show, with an online columnist Marty Smith. Previous positions she held were on the air on WCCB, Charlotte, North Carolina and Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
